Hi Paul,
Well, I've finished all three Eden book now. And, listening to 5th Kind TV I find it interesting that we have a lot more in common than the books. I stopped attending church at the age of 8 with the belief that it is no more than a programming center for government. I won't say I was an atheist; I really didn't give the Scriptures, Jesus, or God much thought for the next twenty-five years. Today, I call myself a Christian as I seek to follow my Master, the teaching of Yeshuah ben Josheph, but I still don't go to church. I attempted a few times, but the dead Jesus hanging from a cross doesn't inspire me, it makes me want to cry. I personally find it quite disgusting, as the Israelites have long believed that the "blood of the lamb" (their most prized possession after human sacrifice ended) was a way to justify calling him the Lamb of God after "killing him". I would feel the same if it were Buddha, or any other great Avatar hanging from that cross in death. So, I find your ideas of robbing them of his death, sheltering him, and jetting him away back to the East to live out his life to be very enlightening and a wonderful story--one that makes total sense to me as I was familiar with some of this, but not in the detail you have explained it. I have a question for you about the Bible. The one I currently use is titled "Holy Bible from the Ancient Eastern Test" by George M. Lamsa's translation from the Aramaic of the Peshitta" (whew, quite the title there). I'm not sure if you've heard/read this version of not, but would like to ask you what do you recommend as a good biblical source, something I can find in the US, and a version you believe is closest to the truth of history? (such as any canon is likely to be) 2nd Question: Which of Plato's writing would you recommend? I haven't read any, but the choices seem to be many, and I'd like a good starting point. Thank you for your contribution to my knowledge!
